What is a disability?
My name is Angel and today I will make you laugh, maybe make you cry and maybe touch on the serious side, but most of all I will have fun.
Lets start off with a funny side what society uses, when they say to somebody in a wheelchair take seat, from that phrase you can either pick a fight, start to cry, punch some one on the nose or better still laugh. Better stilI I laugh and I recommend if you are in this position you should do the same. As for me I laugh, because I don't take this seriously, hey up I was born with a seat so I never have a problem when I need to sit down. Unlike the two legged people who have have to sometimes fight for their seats and sometimes still end up having to stand up. Lets go back to the serious side living with any disability is by no means easy or no walk in the park, but we have to cope the best we can. Sometimes you want to tell society where to go when they look at you as if you are an alien or somebody from mars, after all you are just a person on a seat. A person with a disability has been set with a challenge from god and has to live with the challenge and difficulties on a day to day basis. I know able body people may face many challenges in their life to but from what I see and feel I think their challenges are minimum compared to what you have to face when you are living with a disabilty. I count myself lucky because I can face these difficulties and challenges head on and still manage to make the world smile.
See you again next month, I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope it's made you laugh, think, and smile!
Goodbye, from Angel X
